THE GOSPEL
At Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist we encourage our members to attend Church School and church services regularly, study the bible faithfully and practice Christian principles among all mankind. Our family environment makes it possible for you to ask questions, understand parables and gain insight on the gospel from different point of views.
Church Sunday School
​​10:00am - 11:00am

During our Sunday School Sessions we discuss several different topics pertaining to scriptures and ways to implement certain principles into our every day lives.

Sunday Church Service
​​11:00am - 1:00pm
Elder Larry Hordge Sr. leads our service every Sunday. We enjoy singing praises and worshipping the Lord in song and prayer. On each first Sunday of the month our members also participate in communion.

Bible Study
​​Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm
​
Bible Study is where the "Rubber Meets The Road". Led by Elder Larry Hordge Sr., our members read each verse of the bible and discuss topics along the way. This is an all inclusive and laid back way to truly learn the ins and outs of reading and understanding the bible.
